Treating codling moth larvae too late or too early will cost you - use this Codling Moth Kit before bloom and monitor through harvest
Use this Codling Moth Kit to trap codling moths - the number one pest of apples, pears and walnuts in many areas. Codling moths deposit eggs right on the fruit, larvae then tunnel directly inside to feed, so timing of control is absolutely critical. Replace liners as needed and lures every 3 to 4 weeks. If you are not sure which pests are a problem in your area, check with your county extension agent or land grant university. Kit includes: (1) 1CP trap (plastic top, hanger and bottom) (3) Pheromone lures (3) Trap liners
- Easy to Use: Use two kits per block up to 10 acres in size, and add an extra kit for every additional 10 acres
- Consistent Capture Rates: Trécé pheromones lures provide even release over a 3 to 4 week duration for better capture rates
NOTE: Insect traps and lures provide an early warning system to detect adult insect emergence. They are not intended to reduce the insect population.
