The dark plastic absorbs heat from the sun, allowing your kitchen scraps, yard waste and other organic matter to quickly break down into nutrient-rich hummus. Aeration vents are strategically located along the outside of the drum to deliver optimal airflow with minimal mess. The drum can be removed from the base and rolled to any location for easy filling or dispensing.
