Eliminate the time-consuming, back-breaking and labor-intensive task of removing metal landscaping staples with these new biodegradable turf staples. These biodegradable staples are ideal for holding landscape fabric, sod and plants in place and never need to be removed. Made of a natural plastic consisting of plant sugars and vegetable oils, these staples will completely degrade in the soil after 8–24 months. Bacteria in the soil degrade the staples in cold (43°F) to hot (180°F) conditions and hard, fertile soils will cause quicker degradation.
