Note: Carhartt Overalls and coveralls are sized using either waist & inseam measurements, or by letter sizing. Use the instructions below based on the sizing dropdown menus available.
For garments with waist and inseam sizes:
Choosing waist size:
Measure your waist. Bend side to side and find the natural bend in your body. This is your natural waist. Note: It may not be the smallest point.
• Add 2" if wearing bibs over undergarments or light layers only
• Add 4" if wearing bibs over heavier shirts and pants.
Size up if your measurement falls between sizes.
Size the garment to the largest part of your waist
Choosing inseam size:
Order based on your normal pants inseam.
How to measure Inseam - Measure from your crotch down to the desired length on the leg. You can also measure pants that you currently own that fit well. Lay the garment flat and measure from the crotch to the hem.
For Garments with Letter Sizing (M, L, XL, etc)
Use the Waist/Hip chart plus the Height chart to determine your size. Short and Tall sizes end with "S" and "T" respectively. For example, "MS" equals "Medium - Short" and "XLT" equals "Extral Large - Tall".
